FARKOM was founded by Dodo, Flo
and Bieberchen on January 18, 2024. We have known Ark Survival
Evolved for many years, have played on other clusters and have
already been able to demonstrate our skills in an admin team on
a cluster.
Now we want to start our own
project and create a platform for a community with Ark Survival
Ascended in which players with their passion for this game can
find a home.
Our principles guide us when it comes to designing the server settings, selecting plugins and mods and dealing with the community. They serve as a guide for us not only when founding the cluster, but should also guide us in our decisions in the future.
Cohesion and togetherness
We want to provide space for all players on all platforms. The prime directive should be to have a server that offers long-term motivation, but is not unattractive for players with less time.
Community
The server is intended to be for the community. The well-being of the community has a higher priority than that of the individual.
Communication
Communication should be kept open. Hierarchies should be flat and close to the community.
Mods
The mod list is kept as narrow as possible and we always try to support the cluster with our own projects. The following should always be taken into account:
Pay2Win
Pay2Win should not take place. Monetization is kept as neutral as possible.
Monetization
There should be a fair concept here. If you want to save time, you can buy additional items here and there, but they are not made less attractive in-game so that a purchase does not provide a clear advantage - apart from saving time.
Game content and challenges
Content and challenges should be and remain as close to vanilla as possible. Events, mods, quests, etc. can expand or partially simplify these, but should not take away the challenge.
Market and trade
The market and trade between players should remain as unrestricted as possible. All interventions in the market by the team should always be with the intention of stabilizing the market in the long term and keeping it attractive.
Rules and settings
Rules and settings should be as consistent as possible with this concept.
